A system that's now entered the Gulf of Mexico could become a tropical storm at any moment, as it slowly continues on a track that might let it impact South Carolina's weather by the end of the workweek. He became the first major hurricane of the season with winds as high as 120 miles per hour. "Conditions are expected to be favorable for development of this system later this week while it moves westward at 15 to 20 miles per hour over the tropical eastern Atlantic", forecasters warned Sunday. When Judge Persky handed down Turner's sentence he controversially remarked that, "a prison sentence would have a severe impact on him (Turner)". Criticism of Persky was sparked by his sentencing of Turner in June. NBC Bay Area is attempting to reach Persky for comment. Last Thursday, Doctors Without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontieres or MSF) evacuated its staff from six hospitals in Yemen due to frequently occurring " indiscriminate shelling " by the Saudi-led coalition.
