A four year inquiry has found credible information to support allegations that 25 current or former soldiers were involved in the unlawful murder of 39 Afghan civilians and the cruel treatment of two others. Although it has been the subject of rumour, Australia's official investigation only began after the publication of classified documents about alleged war crimes in Afghanistan. (more...)

David Dodson, an infectious disease specialist in West Palm Beach. Sinovac is now running three phase three trials - in Indonesia, Brazil and Turkey. The findings show the vaccine creates as strong an immune response in those over age 70 as it does in younger adults. But it has seen an uptick in cases recently, with record highs both nationally and in Tokyo , the country's largest city. This compares with 10 days it took to get from 9 to 10 million and 16 days it took to reach 9 million from 8 million cases. The U.S. has also seen an uptick in deaths linked to the virus in the past month, though according to the COVID Tracking Project , death rates remain below where they were during case spikes in the spring and summer.
