An Australian state leader says police shot dead a man who stabbed and slashed several people at a shopping mall. Police confirmed the man was shot by officers responding to an incident at South Hedland Square on Friday. They also confirmed that a number of people received injuries and are now being treated at Hedland Health Campus.
