The 62-inch shell traveled through a 26-foot long mortar before being blasted thousands of feet into the air but it nearly didn't happen because 2-feet of fresh powder dropped on the mountain and made it incredibly hard to plow the launch area and transport the massive shell weighing over a ton. The second and last repatriation flight from the Chinese city of Wuhan to the United Kingdom will arrive at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire early today. They flew to Hong Kong and then to Taiwan on February 1 and were later confirmed to have the virus. As of 2pm on Sunday, the Department of Health said a total of 795 tests were concluded in the United Kingdom, with four testing positive and 791 confirmed negative. (more...)
