Lots of of Australians joined rallies Sunday urging the federal government to not deport a Tamil household of 4 - together with two Australian-born toddlers - whose case has develop into a brand new flashpoint over immigration coverage. The move comes after a judge issued a last-minute injunction to halt their deportation from Melbourne to Sri Lanka on Thursday night. They have done so safely and have re-started their lives in a country now marked by peace and not war. (more...)

Some large oil companies including BP actually favor federal regulation of methane, saying the regulatory certainty is preferable to a patchwork of varying rules by states and legal challenges by environmentalists. In some places, companies will pay to have the gas transported away. He said provincial methane regulations, especially in Alberta and Saskatchewan, are much weaker than the proposed federal rules. The committee is due to consider the reef's heritage listing, considering its health and a possible "in danger" status. The apparent failed rocket launch comes after two failed satellite launches of the Payam and Doosti in January and February . The Bahamas Prime Minister has warned residents they may pay with their life if they choose not to evacuate. Hurricane Dorian is now a Category 4 . Early Sunday , Dorian was centered around 95 miles (150 kilometers) east of Great Abaco Island in the Bahamas and 280 miles (450 kilometers) east of West Palm Beach as it crept westward at 8 mph (13 kph).
