Canada and the European Union are close to agreeing on a possible temporary solution to a US block on appeals in disputes at the World Trade Organization, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Thursday. More than 90 per cent of the deal came into force in September 2017 under what is known as provisional application but all the individual ratifications are needed for its full implementation. Additionally, personal pronouns -"he" or "she"-will be changed to the neutral gender like "the attorney" or "the merchant".
