Magician feared drowned after stunt attempt

He disappeared into the Hooghly river and his body was fished out on Monday evening. An Indian magician is feared dead after jumping shackled into a river in a bid to recreate Harry Houdini's world-famous trick. This time, Lahiri told local photographer Jayanta Shaw, that he performed the stunt to "revive interest in magic". "We have started an investigation as to how a crane reached the Howrah Bridge and who gave him permission for the magic show". (more...)

Articles appear on euronews.com for a limited time. Initially, the intensity of natural disaster was measured 7.4, but the U.S. Geological Survey later showed its intensity 7.2. Although the magnitude was high there was no Tsunami threat given. She said they later received information from a gauge near Raoul Island, one of the Kermadec Islands, which confirmed that the wave that had been generated was less than 10cm high. (more...)

Much, much better than anybody", he bragged before saying it's a "fantastic financial statement". "I don't like that, you know, I don't like that". The case is Klein v. Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries . McGowan said it was important not to lose focus on the couple who were denied service at Sweetcakes when they entered the business expecting the same kind of treatment as any other couple seeking a wedding cake.
