Sunday will be similar to today where most of the day will be dry. A slow front north of us will help to keep our region humid and warm with southwest winds in play. The greatest threat to central North Carolina will be large, potentially ping pong ball-sized hail, and damaging wind gusts of 45 to 60 miles per hour, a hazardous weather outlook said. (more...)

The latest move by the Russian foreign ministry is in retaliation for the expulsion of the same number of Russian diplomats in Britain in the past few days. Mr Lavrov had earlier said that Moscow had "stopped paying attention" to the poisoning claims, and called UK's refusal to work with Russian Federation a "violation of global agreements". (more...)

Here's a map of the evacuation area, provided by the sheriff's office. It started in an area on base about a mile northwest of Pueblo County on range 155. Officials estimate between 300 to 400 acres have burned. It is 40 percent contained as of 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The Pueblo County Sheriff and National Weather Service noted in tweets that winds remain strong in the area which may affect how quickly the fire is contained. (more...)

Following the meeting, Mr Bristow said: "This crisis has arisen as a result of an appalling attack in the United Kingdom, the attempted murder of two people using a chemical weapon developed in Russian Federation and not declared by Russian Federation to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) as Russian Federation is obliged to do under the Chemical Weapons Act". While some experts have questioned the sincerity of North Korea's outreach and expressed doubt the summit will materialise, Mr Trump has projected confidence. In particular, they agreed to work closely to arrange a trilateral summit with China at an early date, and look to enable a visit to Japan by South Korean President Moon Jae-in and a visit to Seoul by Kono. Mr Hussin had learnt his snake-handling skills from his father, whom he called a " snake charmer", and had worked as a firefighter for 10 years, according to Malaysian news outlet The Star . These pictures helped propel him to celebrity when British tabloids mistakenly identified him as a Thai man who married a snake who he believed to be the reincarnation of his soulmate. (more...)

Since their January offensive began, Turkish forces have almost encircled Afrin as they press their campaign to drive the Syrian Kurdish fighters from the town and surrounding region, where tens of thousands of civilians are still believed trapped. Among the victims are five children. The boat was ferrying migrants from Turkey to Greece when it went down overnight off the island of Agathonissi.
