Scientists Jacques Dubochet, Joachim Frank and Richard Henderson were awarded the Nobel Chemistry Prize today for cryo-electron microscopy, a simpler and better method for imaging tiny, frozen molecules. This new microscope technology has enabled scientist to have detailed images of life's complex machinery in atomic resolution. After the violence spread on August 25, Haryana Police issued a notice in search of Honeypreet. She was arrested from Punjab; hence the Punjab police were informed. (more...)

The vote, which was led by his longtime Kurdish rival, regional President Masoud Barzani, is not expected to lead to Kurdish state anytime soon and has further isolated the small land-locked region. Talabani formerly led one of the largest Kurdish factions in Iraq before the 2003 USA -led invasion led to the ouster of Saddam Hussein.
