"If committed in Canada this offence would equate to an indictable offense, namely Treason ", the letter states. Sentenced by court martial to 35 years in prison for this massive data leak classified, she got out of prison after seven years behind bars for a sentence commuted by the former president Barack Obama. Neighbors and residents of a collapsed apartment building on the south side of Mexico City have obtained an injunction from a judge that says rescue efforts must continue for five more days. The Sunday afternoon evacuation was carried out because the pile of rubble shifted. A total of 38 buildings in the Mexican capital - mostly apartment blocks or office buildings - collapsed in Tuesday's natural disaster. (more...)

Jeremy Corbyn shifted Labour's position to a soft Brexit this summer with a longer transition period for leaving the European Union and McDonnell recognised the opposition had a role to try to bring the party and country together. It was later announced a vote would be held in the afternoon on the NEC statement. Labour has yet to set out a clear position on Brexit, particularly on what terms Britain will retain access to the EU's single market. (more...)

Friday's high of 92 broke a record that was originally set in 1908. We have not had a good soaking in more than two months. There is a 20 percent chance of rain on Wednesday night and a slight chance for rain on Thursday . (more...)
