NASA's Juno to Fly Directly Over Jupiter's Mysterious Red Spot Now

Eleven minutes and 33 seconds later, Juno will have covered another 39,771 kilometres and will be directly above the coiling crimson cloud tops of Jupiter's Great Red Spot . EDT, NASA added. The data collection of the Great Red Spot is part of Juno's sixth science flyby over Jupiter's mysterious cloud tops. Mark Cavendish demanded explanations from Peter Sagan after the world champion sent him crashing to the tarmac in a hectic fourth stage finale on Tuesday. Cavendish, a 30-time Tour stage victor, had recovered from a long bout of illness to make it to the Tour this year as he sought to close in on Eddy Merckx's all-time record of 34 Tour stage wins. Pushing out dozens of links every day, many of questionable accuracy, they not only contribute to the spread of misinformation but sap Facebook itself of some of its usefulness. It doesn't seem to distinguish between reputable sources and spam links; but according to Recode , the amount of legitimate things serial Facebook oversharers actually post is nearly negligible. On the other hand, Hayward could pull a Kevin Durant , who signed with the Warriors-at least in part-because he wanted to a change of scenery after playing in Oklahoma City for so many years. Separately, foreign ministers from European and African countries affected by the crisis will meet in Rome on Thursday with representatives of the EU and United Nations as part of a diplomatic push to stem the influx. Fortunately, the pool was not open to the public at the time of the incident. Reports said the auto hit another vehicle and drove at up to 60mph (97km/h) up a hill, through a fence and into the pool. A Colorado woman turned her auto into a submarine when she sent it plunging into the bottom of a swimming pool at a resort on accident. Dozens of bystanders watched as the dripping SUV was raised in the air and lowered down on a tow truck. (more...)

Jelks immediately rushed into his girlfriend's house and went straight to the bathroom, according to WKMG-TV in Orlando. The gun was on the driver's seat and Jelks sitting on it likely caused it to fire, sending a bullet into his crutch. Within seconds the man had realized he had just shot himself in the privates. Cedrick Jelks pleaded guilty in 2004 to cocaine possession, according to court records. (more...)
