Rains failed to dampen the spirits of about 50,000 people who joined in an outdoor yoga session with the prime minister in a park in Lucknow, capital of the northern state of Uttar Pradesh. MS officials reported standing water on hundreds of roads after heavy rains, but Lacy says some flash flooding is receding for now, and no buildings have yet been reported as flooding. There was also no reported damage in Apalachicola. Tropical Storm Cindy is creating the threat of tornadoes along the northern Gulf Coast. Mobile and Baldwin Counties have canceled all summer school activities today, due to rapidly deteriorating road conditions. (more...)

Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) to prop up her government.
