Two British ministers said Sunday that the new exterior cladding used in a renovation on Grenfell Tower may have been banned under United Kingdom building regulations. Cundy said 16 bodies had so far been recovered from the tower and taken to a mortuary. They said: "We naturally welcome funds for those in need, though this does show once more the tendency to sideline residents' views". (more...)
