Judge O'Neill denied Cosby's lawyers a chance to call Jackson as a witness, saying that her testimony was hearsay. Jurors asked for testimony about a detective's interview with Cosby in early 2005. "But perhaps the length of deliberation simply reflects the fact that the jury is doing a thorough and thoughtful review and discussion of the issues". (more...)

South Korea is the world's fifth-biggest consumer of nuclear energy, and one of few countries to export its technology, having won an order to build reactors in the United Arab Emirates , CNBC reported. Stressing that Korea is not safe from a major quake, Moon said the country would face calamity if a nuclear accident took place, however low the likelihood of one is. (more...)

Upon being pinned down, the driver began screaming, " I want to kill all Muslims ". A 48-year-old man has since been arrested and detained by the police. Eyewitnesses told British media that the van seemed to have veered and hit people intentionally. The police have also arrested the suspect who as per the eyewitness at the crime scene described the man "intoxicated" under "motive to kill". (more...)

"Maybe it's you, whoever you are",' Gingrich said. "Trump has a compulsion to counterattack and is very pugnacious". While the White House denied that Trump had any intention to fire Mueller, the New York Times reported Tuesday night that the president had begun entertaining the idea of firing Mueller last month.
