Saturday's drawing was the largest since July 2016, and the 10th largest US lottery drawing in history. The numbers drawn were 20,26,32,38,58 and the Powerball number was 3. That prize was split among three winnners. Matthew Alberre , the store owner, told NBC News "it's a very good feeling to be the winning store", adding that many locals have been coming in to buy extra lottery tickets. (more...)

With 649 of 650 seats declared, the Conservatives had won 318 seats, short of the 326 needed for a parliamentary majority. A senior Labour MP has called on Theresa May to step aside and "let us have a go" at forming a government. But we'll see. In this environment, it's nearly impossible to forecast what's going to happen in the next half hour, let alone in the next few months. (more...)

Mr Comey also confirmed he had his friend leak a series of memos he had written about his relationship with the President to the press. A grim night for the SDLP and the UUP saw both parties lose all their seats in Westminster while the DUP and Sinn Féin made significant gains at their expense. (more...)

Thomas was with his girlfriend Christine Delcros who was also hit and is in hospital in London . Youssef Zaghba had been flagged to British intelligence services after telling Italian police "I'm going to be a terrorist" when he was reportedly stopped trying to travel to Syria. (more...)
