The 70 year old murdered 13 women and tried to kill 7 more in the '70s and '80s. Government figures put the cost of keeping him there to be £325,000 a year, compared with the £45,000 spent on category A jail inmates. A Ministry of Justice spokesman said: "Decisions over whether prisoners are to be sent back to prison from secure hospitals are based on clinical assessments made by independent medical staff". Police said the plane crashed into the trees and immediately caught on fire. The six bodies have been taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Richmond for positive identification. "And as we rolled by, you could actually see parts of the plane, white pieces of metal strewn about the ground". 'It looked so bad the way the plane had landed'. (more...)

Driver was killed on Wednesday in Strathroy, Ontario, at around 4:30 p.m. local time. US authorities sent a screenshot of Driver clad in his balaclava, before sending the footage to their Canadian counterparts on Wednesday morning. Driver is originally from Winnipeg.
