Comey to testify in public before Senate Intelligence Committee

Former FBI director James Comey, who was sacked by Donald Trump amid an agency probe into alleged Russian meddling in the United States election, has agreed to testify before the Senate Intelligence Committee at a public hearing. The document, which was read to the New York Times by sources in the White House, is the latest evidence that Mr Trump fired Mr Comey at least in part because of an ongoing investigation into possible collusion between his campaign and Russian officials. "For me the most important thing is that I have a hobby for which I need to concentrate completely", he said. Prior to that he used to pilot planes for Dutch carrier Martinair. In the late eighties he journeyed to Kenya where he worked for the African Medical Research & Education Foundation (AMREF), and later for the Kenya Wildlife Service. (more...)
