Snow will turn to rain Friday afternoon, the weather service says. In that area, there are 1-3 inches of snow in the valleys and 3-6 inches in the mountains. The heavy wet snow may cause damage to deciduous trees and power outages will be possible. In addition to the snow, the storm could trigger thunderstorms Tuesday and Wednesday in East Idaho.
