Albeit they immediately intimated the other students to not consume the meal, but unfortunately some students had already eaten portions of it. Students have complained that the food served to them often has a "stale smell". A sample of the food was later collected and sent to a laboratory for testing in Chandigarh. A separate committee will investigate the incident under the leadership of Additional Deputy Commissioner. (more...)

Haniyeh, a former deputy chief, will replace Qatar-based veteran Khaled Meshaal, who steps down at the end of his term limit just as Hamas appeared to have softened its stance toward Israel in a new policy document last week. Forbes this week named Duke University among its 2017 list of "Best Employers", ranking the university 27th of 500 large institutions and companies across 25 industries. The survey asks how likely employees would be to recommend their employer to someone else as well as asks them to rate other industry employers. NiSource has been designated a World's Most Ethical Company by the Ethisphere Institute since 2012 and is a member of the Dow Jones Sustainability - North America Index. (more...)

A hearing on the suit is set for Wednesday at 9 a.m. "The removal of these statues sends a clear and unequivocal message to the people of New Orleans and the nation: New Orleans celebrates our diversity, inclusion and tolerance", Landrieu said in a statement in April. The Jefferson Davis Memorial was removed about two and a half weeks after the monument to the Battle of Liberty Place was taken down. Supporters say they represent history and heritage.
