Commenting on the survey, John Coequyt, global climate policy director of environmental group the Sierra Club, said: "It should never have been a question of if the USA should stay in the Paris Agreement , as it is clear that the American people and the world will accept nothing less than the United States delivering on its worldwide climate commitments in full".
