The rift is widening in the Aam Aadmi Party with each passing day. Mishra further said he would file three cases against Satyendra Jain and other AAP leaders for indulging in corruption. There is a AAP PAC meeting at 7 pm. These events widened the political fractures in the party ranks. Qantas Airways chief gets slapped on the face with pie on stage

It is believed the pie was thrown by a man in his 60s wearing a business suit, who walked onto the stage to do so. Mr Joyce was reportedly only three minutes into speaking when the man emerged onto the stage with the pie. Police have confirmed they were called to a security issue at the event , but have not confirmed whether the man will be charged. The West Australian business editor Ben Harvey told Gareth Parker's Mornings program it was "a very weird situation". (more...)

Theresa May has promised to bring net migration below 100,000 a year if she wins the general election, embracing the controversial target that the Conservatives have failed to hit in their past seven years in government. During a radio interview, the Home Secretary was asked if the Conservatives would carry a similar target to the one included in their 2015 manifesto to reduce migration to the "tens of thousands". San Antonio police chief William McManus ripped into the Republicans who pushed the law through despite the objections of every big-city police chief in the state. Texas has taken the unusual step of preemptively suing to stop lawsuits challenging its new "sanctuary cities" ban. The Police did not give any official statement of the operation but the heavy police presence at the station with gun-wielding cops swarming the area recalled the kind of anti-terrorism actions.
