Israeli police said a British woman in her 20s was stabbed to death on a tram near Jerusalem's Old City by a man who was recently released from a psychiatric hospital. Local media said a pregnant woman was injured when the light rail came to a sudden stop. Israel's Shin Bet security agency identified the attacker as Jamil Tamimi, 57, from East Jerusalem's Ras al-Amoud neighbourhood. (more...)
