The crew promptly responded to her distress call in order to assist the mother deliver the baby during the flight. BBC quoted Turkish Airlines as saying. "I took her and give her to the mother". Mother and baby are healthy and doing well. This baby girl will have a unique story to tell all her life after being born aboard an airplane, mid-flight. (more...)

The company has responded by releasing a statement saying that they are shocked by the decision and will appeal.
