You've got to hit the top of the leaderboard. Rose lovingly patted Garcia's cheek before they embraced. Fowler never has been so close to the lead with 18 holes to play. (more...)

Shots were fired during a traffic stop near the U.S. Capitol, Capitol Police reports. A police officer looks over the two vehicles involved in an incident on Capitol Hill in Washington. She declined to say why officers opened fire, and said the incident was being investigated. She allegedly tried to back over an officer, struck a police auto and a Toyota Corrolla. (more...)

According to Patricia Teffenhart, executive director of the New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault, the state's Uniform Crime Report indicated a 6.9 percent increase in reported rapes and reported attempted rapes from 2015 to 2016. But we need to first take baby steps toward achieving that major goal. "It needs to be more transparent so survivors are not silenced", Karim said.
