While Republicans are seeking to revive a bill to repeal and replace Obamacare, the results of a new Gallup poll showed that a majority of Americans now support the healthcare reform law. With the new proposal - full text of which is expected later today - the White House appears to be seeking a middle ground between the Freedom Caucus and moderates who objected to full repeal of the Affordable Care Act. The Commerce Department said the trade deficit narrowed to $43.6 billion in February from a revised $48.2 billion in January. China tops the list of countries who have trade surpluses with the United States, with a $347 billion surplus previous year. (more...)

Price received his bachelor's degree in December 2016 for hospitality business. This year marks the 10th year in the 11 years the Hampshire Honor Society has been in existence that UW has had at least one individual selected. Bertrando was a team captain in 2016 and led the team in tackles with 106. "It is great to see a student-athlete like Christian continue to earn these types of honors", said A&M-Commerce head football coach Colby Carthel. (more...)

Figures yesterday showed that the Scottish economy contracted at the end of a year ago although the United Kingdom as a whole grew.
