Current Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer claims he argued against that at the time. That metro inspector contacted bomb experts and led people away from the area, St. Petersburg Governor Georgy Poltavchenko said Tuesday. The bombing occurred on Monday at 2:20 p.m. Investigators said body parts of the suspect, Akbarzhon Jalilov, 22, were found in the third vehicle of the mangled train. Kyrgyzstan's State Committee for National Security identified one suspect as Kyrgyz-born Russian national Akbarzhon Dzhalilov , aged between 21 and 22. (more...)

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City said most of north and middle Georgia is at a moderate risk of severe weather Wednesday. and 4 p.m., with precipitation tailing off until a final round of thunderstorms moves through the area between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. He says tornadoes are likely and there's a strong chance of baseball-sized hail.
