Declaring Pakistan as the prime party in the Kashmir issue, the JRL said people in Jammu and Kashmir have always regarded and accepted the role of Pakistan in this dispute. "The committee recommended that Gilgit-Baltistan should be made a province of Pakistan", said Pirzada. The Hizb chief said Instead of granting Gilgat Baltistan a province status, the problems of its people should be addressed on priority basis and corruption free administration provided to the people of the region. The group told US lawmakers at a hearing on Friday on Capitol Hill in Washington that state security forces have committed human rights violations "in a consistent manner in disparate locations" in northern Rakhine state during the crackdown which ended in February. They played outdoors in Vancouver in 2014. "I think it's a very healthy rivalry". After much debate, it looks like the Ottawa Senators are getting the outdoor game they've been asking for. (more...)
