To expedite the extradition, the USA waived the death penalty. Three people were killed and several others seriously injured after a auto plowed into pedestrians in Australia's second-largest city on Friday, prompting a major police operation as officials told the public to stay away from the area. Witnesses say a pram was hit by the dark red Holden Commodore and dragged at least 100 metres.
