The Nobel Laureate spoke on Monday, where he said the funeral was not to mourn with the citizens of the USA over their choice of president but the death of Nigerians' common sense. Soyinka, who said he got the Green Card during the National Democratic Coalition years without requesting it - when the exigencies of the time necessitated it - said it was absurd for people to ask him to produce a video showing he tore it. Cirque du Soleil has had a number of serious accidents make headlines recently - most recently on Sunday, when Australian aerialist and former Olympic gymnast Lisa Skinner fractured her neck after falling during a solo performance in the show Kooza in Brisbane. The Indian rupee rose 14 paise percent to trade at 68.08 versus US dollar on Tuesday. TCS, Wipro and Infosys all fell by up to 1.68 per cent. The three "Rust Belt" states were a key reason that President-elect Donald Trump locked in a victory in the November 8 election, and although recounts are extremely unlikely to change the outcome of the presidential election, Stein said they are integral in ensuring the integrity of state election systems.
