Person taken from water in search for woman missing in Irish Sea

The woman is believed to have fallen into the Irish Sea from the " Isle of Inishmore " cruise ferry in the early hours of Friday morning. "The body has not been formally identified at this time". In a statement, Irish Ferries said that the woman "was reported missing on arrival at the port, and there was no knowledge of the missing passenger prior to docking". (more...)

According to Dr Margaret Chan, WHO Director-General, "HIV self-testing should open the door for many more people to know their HIV status and find out how to get treatment and access prevention services". Although the world is fighting vigorously against the HIV, the number of people living with the HIV is increasing every year. "There's no reason for any baby to be born HIV positive". (more...)

Students gathered inside Carver High School in honor of World AIDS Day on Thursday. It is unequivocally one of the most effective and most cost effective HIV prevention interventions we know of. Although the world is fighting vigorously against the HIV, the number of people living with the HIV is increasing every year. "Eleven of those cases were actually AIDS cases, which means people were exposed to HIV and didn't know they were positive". (more...)

Flames Doused and Bus Driver Treated for Smoke Inhalation

It was not clear whether anyone else was on board the bus but London Ambulance Service staff were at the scene to treat people for smoke inhalation. The High Street next to Kingston's Guildhall and Ancient Market Place has been cordoned off after a double-decker bus caught fire earlier this morning. (more...)

Some walls of a burned-out business remain Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, in Gatlinburg, Tenn ., after a wildfire swept through the area Monday. A devastating wildfire destroyed numerous homes and buildings on M. Sevier County Mayor Larry Waters said Thursday that the death toll from the fires stands at seven.
