Only seven Atlantic City casinos remain following the October 10 closure of Carl Icahn's Trump Taj Mahal, but the fifth casino resort to close since 2014 had little impact on overall gaming revenues during the month. New Jersey voted on the North Jersey casino referendum last week and voted overwhelmingly against the proposal and as a result Atlantic City will continue to have a monopoly on the state's casino industry. USA supplies rose 3.65 MMbbl last week, the industry-funded American Petroleum Institute was said to report. A 1.5 million barrel gain was forecast by analysts surveyed by Bloomberg . On Tuesday, the contract surged 5.8 percent to $45.81 per barrel in its biggest daily percentage increase since early April. London Brent crude for January delivery was trading down 3 cents at $44.72 a barrel, after settling down $1.09 on Friday. (more...)

On behalf of Transdev and Luas, Mr Madden said all who worked for the tram system were "very shocked by what happened in Croydon and our hearts go out to those involved". He is understood to have parked his vehicle at Lloyd Park and got on the tram and was heading for work. Andy Nias wrote on Facebook that he and 29 fellow travellers "all thought our time was up". All of the victims were stabbed at least once and were being treated for their injuries at local hospitals. Just after 2 p.m., Orem police said the suspect and one victim had been released from the hospital.
