Turkey has often threatened to walk away from the migration deal if the European Union does not deliver on its side of the bargain by relaxing visa rules by the end of the year for its citizens visiting Europe. Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked of Jewish Home told parliament just before it voted 58-50 in favour of the bill that the Supreme court could "re-examine its moves" once parliament "changes the rules of the game". Israel's attorney general, who was appointed by Netanyahu, has said he will not be able to defend it in court. Dassey remains behind bars at Columbia Correctional Institution. Court documents described Mr Dassey as a slow learner who has difficulty understanding language and speaking.
