The United States reaffirming its support to Pakistan in its war against terrorism and extremism, Monday condemned the blast at a shrine in Balochistan province which killed more than 50 people. During his election campaign, Trump said he would consider imposing a 45 percent tariff on Chinese goods. Police say 17 people have been arrested in Portland since protests began. The march was peaceful, unlike a Friday night protest by 1,000 people that resulted in the arrests of 187 adults and eight juveniles, Los Angeles police said. (more...)

Nov 14 The U.S. government on Monday delayed a decision on whether to grant an easement to Energy Transfer Partners for construction of a segment of the Dakota Access Pipeline, according to joint notice published by the U.S. In an email to the AP, ETP said it would finish the pipeline within 120 days of getting approval for the easement beneath Lake Oahe, the Missouri River reservoir in southern North Dakota. "She made up the entire story about being attacked, about her hijab being taken". Messages of love and support were found all over UL Lafayette's campus after news of the attack spread.
