Fighting is expected to take weeks, if not months, as 30,000 government forces, Sunni tribal fighters and Kurdish Peshmerga first encircle the city then attempt to oust between 4,000 and 8,000 Islamic State militants. Sanctuary Marine Bermuda said Hurricane Nicole must have blown the lobster in. In the comments section, the Sanctuary Marine Bermuda crew revealed that they nearly brought the crustacean to the aquarium, but ultimately chose to release it after removing the fish hook. (more...)

Ludke told investigators the plan was to obtain passports for Arab countries in Mexico and then travel to Yemen where he and Padilla-Conde would study Arabic. On Oct. 5 Ludke told the employee that he and Padilla-Conde were in Texas heading toward El Paso. Court records show Ludke appeared without counsel during an initial court appearance in Texas on Wednesday. (more...)

The average daytime high temperature this time of year is in the low 60s but that will be closer to the low temperature tonight! Wednesday will also be fairly nice with clear skies and a high of 20 degrees. A rainy cold front is expected to move through midweek, however, leaving highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s. Curren says Tuesday's overnight hours should see clear to partly cloudy skies. (more...)

The Pentagon did not specify how close the missiles came to the USS Mason .
