Team Canada outshot Team Czech Republic, 50-27, the second-most shots on goal by one team in one game in World Cup of Hockey history. Nine members of this USA team were in Vancouver in 2010, when they lost to the Canadians in the gold-medal game, and 14 players were in Sochi when Canada shut out the Americans 1-0 in the semifinals. Team USA coach John Tortorella on Thursday expressed his disappointment at former US players - including Pittsburgh Penguins forward Phil Kessel - taking shots at the team after it failed to advance in the World Cup of Hockey. It may actually behoove the Bears to sit Cutler for a week or two, using his injury as an excuse to take him off the field, even if he feels healthy enough to play.
