Dominic Thiem reached his first Grand Slam final and ended the surprising French Open run of 72nd-ranked Marco Cecchinato of Italy. I think this is too good of an opportunity for Thiem to pass up. Nadal had to work in his quarterfinal, as he was broken five times and hit 46 unforced errors. The 16-time major victor saw Schwartzman take a set off him in Paris for the first time since 2015, but Nadal survived a triple break-point before an injure scare to Del Potro appeared to swing ...
