Broncos vs Chargers: NFL Pre-Game Odds and Preview
- October 14, 2016
Philip Rivers has been one of the league's best, and the Chargers passing offense is certainly not to blame for their 1-4 start. Denver made another last push with four minutes remaining when it appeared running back C.J. It was a rough night in San Diego for Joe DeCamillis and the Broncos. The Broncos should win tonight's game rather easily tonight, unless the Chargers can change some things on defense. (more...)

Controversial Nike Quarterback Colin Kaepernick to Start Against Buffalo Bills
- October 14, 2016
Colin Kaepernick has completed the last step needed in order to return to the role of starting quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, agreeing to restructure his seven-year, $126 million contract. I'm not going to slack whatsoever in how I prepare for this football team, how I watch this film, how I get myself ready to play a game. That means the 49ers could cut ties with him at any point before the regular season with few salary-cap ramifications. (more...)

Auston Matthews' four-goal National Hockey League debut a Twitter sensation
- October 14, 2016
Matthews swatted at the pass, giving Toronto a 1-0 lead. He did what I can only imagine players dream about: Scored four goals in his debut as a member of a professional team and made history as the first person to ever do so. The Cole Harbour, N.S., native would find the back of the net in his third game against Boston and finished the season with 39 goals and 102 points. On average, it takes 200 games for a four-goal game to occur. (more...)

- October 14, 2016
Dombrowski said the season was a success after the ballclub went from worst to first to win the AL East. Who can forget 2013, the year our city was attacked and you and the Red Sox took the city on your back. The Red Sox were an offensive juggernaut in 2016, but will be missing a key piece in their lineup, and organization as a whole, when everyone reports to Spring Training in four short months. On Monday, Strasburg had elbow discomfort during a bullpen session that was cut short and the Nationals have apparently made a decision to shut him down for the rest of the season. "Nothing's change. Mike Dee out as Padres president following miserable season
- October 14, 2016
Dee's ouster came less than a month after general manager A.J. Preller was suspended for a month by Major League Baseball after its investigation revealed the Padres had withheld medical information from trade partners. If they do choose to do so, that would function as a demotion of Preller. He left the Padres in 2002 to take a front office job with the Red Sox. The announcement, made by Chairman Ron Fowler and Managing Partner Peter Seidler, was released on Twitter and did not specify ... (more...)
