Scientists shocked by 75 percent decline in flying insect numbers

A decline in their numbers has the potential to cause huge disruption to the food chain-the valued of the "ecosystem services" provided by wild insects is estimated to be $57 billion annually in the USA alone. Incidentally, most of the 63 nature reserves in the study are surrounded by agricultural lands, meaning pesticide use may be to blame. The app have insisted that the feature will be encrypted, and offers users the chance to set a time limit on how long they want their location to be accessible for. In case you have shared it with a group, then everyone on the group will see your current location. If more than one person shares their location in a group, all locations will be visible on the same map. (more...)

S.Chandrasekhar worked at the University of Chicago and at the young age of 26 he was appointed as a deputy professor at the university. Chandrasekhar won the Physics Nobel Prize in 1983 along with William A Fowler. Before Chandrasekhar, scientists assumed that all stars collapsed into white dwarfs when they died. While launching the Bixby Assistant on the Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone, Samsung has put a dedicated button to launch the Bixby voice assistant. Lego said it would build the set in March, after science editor and writer Maia Weinstock pitched the idea through the Lego Ideas initiative, where the company fields ideas on future toy sets. Lego's new " Women of NASA " sets come complete with replica space shuttles and telescopes for little feminist girls and boys. Johnson, though, made a decision to not participate in the final Lego set. (more...)

Allergan had previously made an unorthodox agreement with a NY state-based American Indian tribe in order to protect Restasis patents from challenges made through the U.S. The tribe and Allergan argue that the patents are not subject to the patent office's review because of the tribe's sovereign immunity. Joining this is a "Day" view option for seeing multiple calendars at once side-by-side. Besides that, employees can view and manage multiple calendars side by side, a feature that should come in handy for administrative assistants and other employees who schedule meeting on behalf of their teams.
