McDonald's Designed A Milkshake 'STRAW' That Will Change The Way You Suck

Dovetailing with the launch of its Chocolate Shamrock Shake the Suction Tube for Reverse Axial Withdrawal (or STRAW for short) the implement enables a split 50 per cent flow chocolate and mint into the mouth. The STRAW will be available in select restaurants. Meanwhile, McDonald's has yet to put any engineers on the problem of solving the Shamrock Shakes' persistenly weird chemical aftertaste, presumably because they spent all their R&D budget on tongue-in-cheek promotional videos ... It received 33 reports of vehicle seats disconnecting from the strollers and falling to the ground, with 26 reports of injuries to children. The recalled strollers are, "folding, single or double occupant strollers and have Click & Go receiver mounts that attach the auto seat carrier to the stroller frame", the recall announcement said. The toy maker had launched a "Monopoly Token Madness" campaign that allowed fans to vote on a mix of the classic eight tokens and dozens of new alternatives. Monopoly emoji, a rubber duck, a watch, a wheel, and a bunny slipper. Potential new tokens include flip flops, emoji, and a computer. Hasbro has yet to name which token will be replacing the thimble, but it will unveil all eight tokens on March 19, a day it dubs World Monopoly Day. (more...)

The goal is to bring something of an iMessage-type experience to Android, where users can send each other messages containing video, images, and other types of media content, using the stock messaging app on their phones, and without relying on the aging SMS/MMS standards.
