Ebell's appointment could derail the United States' commitments to the Paris Agreement signed past year. "It will - it takes four years to withdraw - if a country sought to withdraw from the agreement it takes four years", he told reporters. The " supermoon " set to rise on November 14 will be the closest full moon since 1948 and until 2034. You can see the supermoon from just about anywhere. A "closer than usual" pass to the Earth can happen even when the moon isn't full, but the effect is much more noticeable when it is. Since it is closer to Earth, the moon will appear larger in the sky and will reflect more light toward the planet. (more...)
