The fire was 4 percent contained on Wednesday. Authorities lifted mandatory evacuation orders for some areas on Thursday, although it was not immediately clear how many residents were allowed back home. "This is not the time to mess around", San Bernardino County fire battalion chief Mark Peebles said. The fire, first spotted around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, grew at a frightening pace to 18,000 acres the first night. (more...)

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will "forcefully" present Pakistan's stance on the state-terrorism in Indian-held Kashmir at the upcoming session of UN General Assembly in NY next month, the Foreign Office said Thursday. Per WNDU , White was driving 73 MPH in a 60 MPH zone. Redfield, Stepherson Jr., and Williams face an additional charge for possession of a handgun without a license. Redfield, a senior, is Notre Dame's projected starter at free safety for the team's season opener September 4 at Texas. Sophomore Williams is a part of ND's projected three-man running back rotation. The two NASA astronauts installed the first of two worldwide docking adapters, or IDAs, which will enable the station to accommodate practically any aircraft and let new arrivals in, including new SpaceX and Boeing vehicles. These mirrors on the IDA function much like rearview mirrors on Earth-bound cars, allowing future space taxis to navigate into their new parking spot on the space station. (more...)

Then again, we're selfish and don't have to subject ourselves to the relentless training required to compete at such a high level. Sales of Apple's iPhone SE and iPhone 6s stood at 9.2% and 9.1% of all smartphone sales in the period, pushing up Apple's share in the United Kingdom market to 37.2%, up from 34.1% in the first quarter. Apple continued its downward trend with a decline of 7.7 percent in the second quarter of 2016. As reported by authorized market researcher Gartner , in the second quarter of 2016, the edge of global Smartphone transaction has enlarged by 4.3% as compared to the same period of previous year.
