Virgin Galactic will carry private astronauts and space tourists to the ISS

Supporting and coordinating the use of ISS resources will be an important point of integration required for each private astronaut mission. Suborbital missions haven't really been a thing for NASA astronauts since the very early days of the American human spaceflight program , including the X-15 research system and Mercury, the spaceflight program which paved the way for the Apollo missions. Debris was strewn across some sidewalks in Mexico City , more than 400 miles away, as plaster from building facades crumbled and tiles were shaken loose. Helicopters flew over downtown Mexico City and police patrols sounded their sirens after the natural disaster struck. The natural disaster was only 26 kilometres below the earth's surface. (more...)

The town was closed off and declared a "red zone" on 21 February. Currently, SpaceX launches rockets from Cape Canaveral in Florida. Elon Musk's space company is hiring " offshore operations engineers " who would develop floating spaceports for Starship. "Starship will be fully reusable with booster re-flight possible every few hours & ship re-flight every 8 hours". Musk also confirmed to former SpaceX user experience designer Russ Parrish that the rocket would be transported via the company's Hyperloop transportation system using a refurbished oil ... (more...)

The European Space Agency's Trace Gas Orbiter (TGO) has just spotted a green light in the atmosphere of Mars - the first time such phenomenon is seen on a world beyond the Earth. Crude oil spilled from the Trans Mountain pipeline in Abbotsford early Saturday morning, and crews are working to clean it up. While an investigation is ongoing, the Crown-owned company said in a statement the cause of the spill appears to be related to a fitting on a 2.5-centimetre piece of pipe. (more...)
