Tropical forests' capacity to remove Carbon dioxide decreases

The amount of planet-warming carbon dioxide that can be sucked up from the atmosphere and stored by tropical forests is falling as the global climate heats up, researchers said on Wednesday. 'This decrease is decades ahead of what even the most pessimistic climate models predicted, ' said Wannes Hubau, a forest ecosystems expert at Belgium's Royal Museum for Central Africa. (more...)

Future uncrewed cargo missions will make use of SpaceX's upgraded Crew Dragon capsule, also known as Dragon 2 , in accordance with a second CRS contract award announced in 2016 . It is not yet clear how much each ticket will cost. Anyone who flies to the station will be approved by Nasa and its ISS partners such as Japan, Russia and Canada; those tourists must undergo certain training to meet agency requirements before the trip. The TBI, Sullivan County Sheriff's Office, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation would like to thank the public for their support during the two-week AMBER Alert search for Evelyn Boswell. Evelyn's mother was charged with filing a false report February 25 after authorities say she gave inaccurate and conflicting statements. Megan Boswell said her mother, Angela Boswell, took her infant, Evelyn Mae Boswell , to a campground in Mendota, Virginia. (more...)

The moon will rise in the eastern sky on the nighttime of Monday, March 9 - which is a bit over a week earlier than the official start of spring on March 19. This nickname, paired with the supermoon, is why some are referring to March's full moon as the Super Worm Moon . Here in the United Kingdom, the Moon will reach peak illumination shortly after moonrise , at about 5.47pm GMT. (more...)

According to studies conducted by NASA experts, the asteroid will pass a distance bigger than the equivalent between the Moon and our planet, so we can not be considered to be in a real danger. 1998 OR2, which was originally spotted way back in 1998, will make its closest approach to Earth on April 29th.
