Mars Loses Water Faster Than Previously Believed
- January 11, 2020
Once here in the higher and colder altitudes, the water is blasted with ultra-violet (UV) rays from the Sun, which disassociate the water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen atoms. Ultimately, we might also learn what eventually led to Mars losing all its liquid water from the surface. Nowadays, Mars is largely dry and the water on the planet has become largely frozen glacial layers. (more...)
