Bahamas preparing for hit from Dorian

Non-governmental organisation IsraAID said on Friday that it was "preparing to send an emergency team" as Dorian headed for Florida's east coast, although its path could yet change. Forecasters warned, too, that the storm's slow movement could subject the state to a drawn-out pummeling from wind, storm surge and heavy rain. Brazil puts 60-day ban on land-clearing fires in Amazon rainforest

Bolsonaro said he had asked U.S. President Donald Trump for "help" and that Trump had said "he couldn't make a decision without hearing from Brazil". But later on Wednesday, the South American leader fired a fresh salvo. President Jair Bolsonaro with minister Ricardo Salles. Brazil's foreign ministry said it was not aware of the proposal. The next Lunar bound orbit manoeuvre is scheduled on September 01, 2019 between 6.00 pm - 7.00 pm IST. The last manoeuvre is now on September 1 when Chandrayaan-2 will be put in the circular 100km x 100km orbit. The health of the spacecraft is being continuously monitored from the Mission Operations Complex at ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network in Bengaluru with support from Indian Deep Space Network antennas at Bylalu, near Bengaluru , the space agency has said. The FBC is divided into levels and as you explore, you will find enemies of higher levels that fit perfectly with the pace of your improvements. These missions aren't required, but they are fairly challenging and break up the flow of the game. (more...)

The test, which was the prototype's second test following a July jump to an altitude of about 20 meters ( 65 foot ), is meant to pave the way to a more powerful heavy lift booster. SpaceX has not provided any details of the next test flight of the Starhopper spacecraft. Eddie Treviño, the local county judge, told CNN Business there was a "huge, huge sense of excitement" about the SpaceX Starhopper project. (more...)

The orbit achieved is 179 km x 1412 km, ISRO added. ISRO tweeted that the duration of the maneuver was 1,190 seconds. "All spacecraft parameters are normal". ISRO Chairman K Sivan has said the proposed soft-landing on the Moon is going to be a "terrifying" moment as it is something ISRO has not done before, where as LOI maneuver was successfully carried out during the the Chandrayaan-1 mission. What initially began as a NASA investigation into developing cheaper reusable space shuttles is now an ultra-secretive United States military project. The Air Force hasn't revealed the exact objective of the drone, but it did at least let us know when it landed last time. The first X-37B took off in April 2010 and returned to Earth about eight months later, totaling about 225 days in space. (more...)

An update from the National Hurricane Center showed Dorian weakening from a Category 3 when it hits Florida to a Category 2 by the time it makes its way to Orlando on Monday afternoon. The National Hurricane Center says Dorian has top sustained winds near 80 miles per hour (130 kph) with higher gusts. Forecasters said Hispaniola's mountainous terrain could have helped sap some of the storm's strength if it crossed over. (more...)
