The moniker "Wolf Moon" was given to every January moon by Native Americans. It was called a " super blood wolf moon " because the moon was at its closest point in its orbit to the Earth, making it appear larger than normal, or "super"; a "blood" moon because of the reddish hue from the eclipse; and a "wolf" moon, which is the name for January's full moon. It hitched a ride on the small-size Epsilon-4 rocket that was launched from the Uchinoura Space Center by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). After becoming the first country in the world to land a spacecraft on the far side of the moon , China is planning four more missions to get samples back before studying the feasibility of a lunar research base. Light was channeled into a tube in the canister, allowing a cotton seed to sprout. Rather, they could harvest and grow their food on the moon. Cotton could be used for clothing, rapeseed for oil, and the potatoes a source of food. (more...)
