Exports in the first 11 months of the year fell 7.5 percent from the same period a year earlier, while imports dropped 6.2 percent. Imports were expected to have dropped 1.3 percent, after falling 1.4 percent in October. In yuan terms, exports climbed 5.9% annually and imports surged 13%, customs office said. According to Purchasing Managers' survey, manufacturers raised their production on greater order intake in November. (more...)

The Presidential recount requested by Green Party candidate Jill Stein continues in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. It was Goldsmith's midnight ruling Monday that started the recount in MI. The court said she finished fourth in the election and doesn't qualify as an "aggrieved" candidate under MI law. A court hearing will be held Friday on a possible recount in Pennsylvania . (more...)
