After rising over 15 percent over the four sessions since the November 30 OPEC meeting, Brent futures were down $1.25, or 2.3 percent, to $53.69 a barrel at 10:13 a.m. For the week ended November 25, 2016, the EIA reported that United States crude oil inventories fell 884,000 barrels to 488.1 MMbbls (million barrels). The Australian Bureau of Statistics reported a 0.5 percent contraction for the September quarter. Third-quarter GDP will be released on Wednesday morning. As expected, the Reserve Bank of Australia kept its cash rate unchanged at a policy meeting on Tuesday, but it sounded a note of caution on economic growth after a run of soft data pointed to a possible contraction in the third quarter. OPEC's oil output set another record high in November, rising to 34.19 MMbbl/d from 33.82 MMbbl/d in October, according to a survey based on shipping data and information from industry sources. As per a Crisil Research report , if the forecasts come true, in Mumbai , the petrol will cost about Rs 75 per litre compared with current price at Rs 72, and diesel will cost more than Rs 64 as against Rs 60 now. Leslie Leis, a resident of Kettering, came out to buy tools for her son. Black Friday , the day after Thanksgiving, vies with the Saturday before Christmas as the biggest sales day. Retailers now are starting their deals before the holiday kicks in. That pattern occurred over past Thanksgiving weekends, as more stores opened on Thursday and siphoned sales away from Friday.
