According to the NRF, fewer than 15 percent of consumers arrived at stores by 6 a.m. That's compared to previous year, when shoppers were more evenly split, with 103 million browsing online and 102 million in stores. The city is the largest urban centre in Iraq still held by IS. The UN reported that at least 1,959 members of the Iraqi security forces were killed in November. He said his men also captured Qadissiyah-2, bringing to 23 the number of neighbourhoods retaken by special forces in the eastern sector since the campaign to recapture the city began on October 17. It hopes non-OPEC countries will contribute another 600,000 bpd to the cut. Applied Micro Circuits jumped 11.7 percent after Macom Tech said it would buy its fellow chipmaker for $770 million. Medical supplier Patterson Cos. plunged to a three-year low. The Nasdaq is up 373.27 points, or 7.4 percent. The rally came one day after the major indexes all closed at record highs simultaneously, which hadn't happened since 1999. (more...)

Now lawmakers from the three opposition parties control a combined 165 seats, while Park's ruling Saenuri ruling party holds 128.
