The OBR warned that there was greater uncertainty than usual surrounding these forecasts, especially for the last two years of the period, because it does not know the terms on which the United Kingdom will leave the European Union. Hammond also said the OBR now saw growth in 2018 at 1.7 per cent compared with March's forecast of 2.1 per cent. A number of brokerages recently weighed in on WFC. In the same quarter past year, the company reported EPS of $1.08. That is compared with the $1.03 in EPS it reported during the same period a year ago. The company had revenue of $22.30 billion for the quarter. This represents a $1.52 dividend on an annualized basis and a dividend yield of 2.89%. The ex-dividend date of this dividend is Wednesday, November 2nd. (more...)

Brexit will cost the British economy a whopping €144bn (£122bn) by 2020 according to the Phillip Hammond's so-called Autumn Statement. Chancellor Phillip Hammond said the United Kingdom economy will grow slower than expected in 2017 and the government will need to borrow more over the next five years, when giving his first Autumn Statement.
